Hi, I'm Mary Louise!
For over two decades, my life was shaped by eating disorders. When I finally began my recovery, I faced a difficult realization: I was in my mid-30s and had little sense of who I was outside of my illness. This awareness sparked an existential crisis that left me feeling stuck but also determined to no longer let life pass me by.
Since then, I’ve been navigating a new chapter that includes managing ulcerative colitis and other health challenges. Alongside these challenges, I’ve been learning how to live more mindfully, reconnecting with myself, opening up to the world and finding joy in small, everyday moments. It’s an ongoing journey, and each day I find new ways to learn and grow.
These past few years, I’ve had countless in-depth conversations with people from all walks of life and discovered that many of us go through life on autopilot. Often, we’re disconnected from our true needs and desires, and not fully present and engaged with ourselves or the world around us. But I believe it’s never too late to make changes. Through therapy, coaching training, and my daily yoga practice, I've learned valuable insights on building a healthier, happier and more intentional life.
My blog posts dive into personal growth and intentional living. In my weekly Friday Musings, I share personal updates, actionable tips, and articles or videos that inspire reflection and invite us to engage more with the world around us. My aim is to create a supportive, growth-oriented space where we can share and learn together. Feel free to join the conversation, leave a comment, or suggest topics you’d like to see covered.
If you’d like to explore these topics further, I am always open to connecting! You can reach out via email or book a free call—a 20-minute "mindful chat" meant as a space for you to be heard and explore what's on your mind, and for me to connect and learn more, so I can create content that truly resonates. We can chat in English or Italian, and I also speak some French and Spanish.
